culture: Arabic is the most commonly spoken language in Iraq. Over 75% percent of Iraq's poulation is Arab, and the remainder is mostly Kurdish. 97% of Iraqis are Muslims. Of these approximately 2/3 are Shi'a and 1/3 Sunni. About 25% of Iraqis are illiterate.
